While in office, Robb has brought efficiency to county operations and procurement procedures and became known as the “taxpayers’ watchdog” for his scrutiny of the County's spending and his management of the budget process. While he was Council President, he was a strong supporter of tax relief for the elderly, including the reduction of sanitation fees, and an increase in homestead exemptions.
